Royal’s termite defense program incorporates only the best products on the market today.
The #1 best selling termite control product in the U.S.A.
No other termite control system of any type has ever achieved such a high level of effectiveness. Quite simply: Termidor is the most effective and fastest at completely eliminating termite populations. So it’s not surprising that millions of homeowners like you have made Termidor the #1 termite defense product in America.
What makes Termidor so unique? Here are just a few of the revolutionary attributes that set Termidor apart:
The only one to completely eliminate termites in all tests, in all locations.
Before Termidor was made available to American homeowners through Termidor Certified Professionals, it was put through some of the toughest efficacy and environmental tests in history. For 10+ years of testing, Termidor was proven to be effective against subterranean termites, including Formosans, in even the most challenging situations, climates and environments.
When it comes to getting rid of termites, nothing does the job quicker than Termidor. Period. Your termite problem will be completely eliminated. It’s that simple.
Advanced undetectable technology.
Termidor is made from a revolutionary new nonrepellent or”undetectable”chemical technology treatment. That means termites cannot see, smell, taste or avoid Termidor. Instead they contact, ingest, and share it with their nestmates. This is in sharp contrast to older liquid termite controls, which rely on repellent barriers that termites can finds breaks in or avoid completely.
Termites who contact Termidor transfer it to every other termite they in turn contact in a unique process called the”Transfer Effect.”And because Termidor is engineered to be slow-acting, termites have ample time to spread it throughout their entire termite population.
Better than bait… without the wait.
Baits can take years to control a termite colony. Termidor begins working immediately to wipe out termites inside and immediately surrounding your home. Termidor is the most effective and fastest at completely eliminating termite populations—up to six-times faster than bait systems.
A termite control product that provides immediate protection from termites like no other products.
How Premise® Protects Your Home
Premise, introduced by Bayer, delivers long-lasting effective termite elimination.
Premise is a non-repellent termiticide, meaning that termites do not detect that Premise is present. Premise creates an undetectable “Treated Zone®” around the home, where termites unknowingly eat treated cellulose or tunnel into treated soil. As termites come into contact with other termites, they transfer the active ingredient, imidacloprid, to“non-infected”termites. This mode of action, called the Domino Effect®, is extremely effective in controlling termites and protecting the structure of a home. Termites“infect”other termites and die.
Unlike Premise, repellent termiticides work by creating a continuous barrier. As a result, the termites forage through cracks in the barrier and penetrate the home. Premise’s non-repellent chemistry offers better protection by not relying on this continuous barrier and, unlike other termiticides, you don’t have to wait to protect the structure of the home.
Premise Safety and Environmental Concerns
Premise has been successfully used for eight years in homes in the U.S. and 11 years internationally. Imidacloprid, the active ingredient in Premise, is the most widely used insecticide in the world with a proven track record of success–less than one percent retreat rate. The active ingredient in Premise is commonly used in consumer products for both people and pets. Premise has no odor.
Treatment Options for Powerful Termite Protection
Premise gives PMPs a variety of application options that can be customized to control any termite infestation. Whether it’s a ground and/or aerial infestation, Premise delivers immediate outdoor and indoor control.
Exterra Termite Baiting System:
The best in it’s class.
How are termites baited with Exterra?
Termite baiting with Exterra is a straightforward and simple multi-step process. The first step is the installation of stations in the ground at regular intervals around the structure. The stations are inspected at periodic intervals for the presence of termite activity.
If termites are found in a station, the station is baited. Baited stations are inspected on a regular basis and rebaited as needed. When termite feeding in a station ceases for a length of time, any remaining bait is removed-at which point the process begins again. This is necessary in case the colony was not completely eliminated, or other nearby termite colonies invade the area vacated by the previous colony.
Is there anything special about Exterra that increases the probability of the successful establishment of termites feeding on bait in a station?
Termites have few natural defenses. Therefore, they often react to disturbances in areas in which they are feeding by leaving the area. With this in mind, the Exterra interception and baiting method was designed to minimize disturbance of termites feeding in the station.
The key to this is the configuration of the interceptors when installed in the Exterra station. As earlier explained, when interceptors are installed in a station, they lay against the outside walls of the station, leaving a large vacant baiting cavity in the center of the station. Inspections of the interceptors for evidence of termite attack can be made without moving or removing the interceptors. When evidence of termite feeding on the interceptors is discovered, the station is baited by simply placing bait in the baiting cavity in contact with the infested interceptor(s).
It’s important to note that stations can be baited and rebaited without moving or removing the interceptors. Stations are rebaited, if necessary, by adding more bait to the cavity. Nothing is removed from the station between the time that termites are discovered feeding in the station and the time that feeding on bait has ceased, thereby, reducing the potential for disturbance of feeding termites.
Also important is the size of the Quarterra stations. Quarterra stations can hold a very large volume of termite bait. This means that the period of time between inspections can often be longer than would be necessary with a smaller station. In fact, Quarterra is so large that there is no need to install auxiliary stations around stations found to be infested with termites as is necessary with some other bait systems. Fewer inspections of stations means fewer opportunities for termite disturbance.
